Well today I didn't really have the time to do a new drawing so I am just going to post something old that I have yet to post of this blog. Man this one makes me want to have a slurpee- to bad its Sunday. Well not much else to say, so everyone have a good night and Monday!

Well here's something a little different form my usual art I post. I was just practicing with Photoshop painting and I think it turned out pretty good for my first time. I had to cut it a bit short because Miss P woke up so maybe a body for this little dog is forth coming :)

#365DRAWING: 9 Pin wheel

My mind completely on spring and summer right now! I am looking forward to the warm weather and such. This picture is so sweet and I love the yellow color. Well not much to say today I am tired and at least I did one today (just one of those days).

#365DRAWING: 8 Fashion pic 1 and 2

I tried something new today- I was looking at a catalogue from Down East and I really liked to poses the girls were in so I thought I'd try my hand at drawing some. Definitely I will be doing this more in the future it really helps me to get down how to draw my girls in all kinds of poses. 

And this little girl looks like she's ready for spring (as am I). 

I also drew this one while referencing the Down East catalogue. I must say they really have some cute clothes this year, but then again they always do- if I had the money I would so buy all my clothes from Down East, just saying.

While I was coloring Keith made an interesting comment... He said these girls look older than the ones I usually draw. And I kind of like that, my design really is evolving as I draw more! Which really really makes me excited!

Hoot Hoot!

I was hoping to sell my art work at a boutique in Logan and they really liked owls. Sadly it didn't work out but I got a cute design out of it. Well I have now been doing this challenge for a week and it is really a lot of fun :)

#365DRAWING: 6 Grandma

I've been working on this one for a while and now I have finally finished it... Well finished for now I might touch it up a bit later but its finished enough to post. And if you can't read the text at the bottom it says "A Grandma is a Mom with extra frosting" which I just fell in love with this quote and I want to illustrate it! I am hoping to sell this one as a print so if anyone is interested leave me a comment and I'll give you more info.

#365DRAWING: 5 1853

I got the idea for this drawing when I was looking threw an American Girl catalogue. There's a new doll (well new for me) from 1853 and I kind of patterned her after that doll. I love the dress and the boots, sometimes I wish I could dress like this (without all of the weird looks). In the future I am going to retrace this one so its a bit nicer but this is what I did quickly today :)
