Just finished coloring Meet me in France. Still waiting for my printer- it's taking forever to get here!!! But when it does arrive this will be in my Etsy shop!

Meet me in Italy!

Just finished the first postcard in my new series. And I am in love with it! It will be one of the things that will be sold on my Etsy shop when I finally get my printer (which I ordered today!). I am going to go to Italy some day! But it was so much fun looking up pictures for reference for this picture. And thanks to my wonderful husband who helped me with the Italian names for the gelato flavors.

Just one peek into my new series of travel destinations worldwide. I love the idea of traveling and seeing all these sites with such historical value. I will see all these places someday. 

Shark print

It has really been a long time since I've posted anything on the blog. But I'm starting again! Here's a little update for Paisley Lane Design, I have finally ordered a printer so soon I will be posting like crazy on Etsy! This has been a long time in the making so I am very excited!

Anyways this shark picture will be one of the prints that I will be selling on Etsy. I am also working on a dolphin on and a whale one. My favorite so far is definitely this little shark, who looks so stylish in a bow.

C is for Coloring

I am so SO SO happy with how this turned out. I have colored this particular picture quite a few times but my computer kept misplacing it (grrr). At least I saved the one I really like, so its all ended up all right. 

Pretty Girl

This picture was completely drawn and colored on the computer. One of my best so far, I am in love with this picture! I used a picture I found on Pinterest as a reference. 

Fairy Circle

It really has taken quite a long time to finish, sometimes I forget about pictures until I find them weeks later. I really like how this turned out. Fairy circles always makes me think of one of my favorite books, Summer of the Monkeys (the book is much much MUCH better than the movie!). I found a way to make a brush that looks like sparkles of Pinterest. I hope to post this on Etsy soon.

Pokemon.... GOTTA CATCH EM ALL!!

 Oh my goodness- the whole time I was working on these shoes I wanted them to be mine!! I was so excited to get an order for Pokemon shoes. And a big shout out to my husband who has brought in this one and quite a few shoe orders.... THANKS!

I'm-a-Mario! Custom shoes

Well my custom shoes have really gotten quite popular! Thank you to all that have made an order! It really is quite a confidence boost!

 I have these and I just finished a pair that have Pokemon on them (pictures coming soon). And after doing a couple I have decided to raise the price a little. So the shoes are $40 plus the price of the shoe (if I purchase the shoes). So just a ten dollar difference. Anyways, I was happy with the way they turned out. I originally started out using fabric pens, but I completely messed up Mario at the start so I ended up using acrylic paint. And by using acrylic paint it really saved my pens. All of the black for the background would have totally used up the one black pen I have left (I think its time for some new pens).

I must say it was different to work with acrylic paint. The canvas shoes really drank up the paint, it took a lot of layers to make it this colorful. I really prefer the fabric pens but I'm sure I'll use acrylic paint again in the future!

Born to fly

This one just makes me think of Ellie from Up. I had a lot of fun creating the air planes in Illlustrator. And this is my first try in tracing my drawing in Photoshop. I think it turned out pretty good, although the lines are a little wobbly. 

Street Fighter II Turbo Shoe Art

I finally finished the shoes for my brother. I am so excited with how they turned out! I used fabric markers, and all images belong to Street Fighter. Also I used a little acrylic paint just to see if it would work cause if it does it will be quite handy to fill in large spaces.

This week I also have a couple pieces in the American Fork Steel Days Art Show. It opens on Thursday in the American Fork Library, come check it out! 

Modpodge

Here is my first attempt at mod podging one of my pictures onto wood. I think it turned out ok I just need to work on getting it a little smoother. 

I want to enter this piece into the American Fork Steel Days Art show, which is next week. Well first attempt not too bad I might try again though just to try and get it the way I envision it. More to come on the art show. And more to come to Etsy as well!

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone! This picture is my husband and my daughter watching fire works (even though we didn't really get to watch any, Miss P was too tired and Keith had to work, this is what I imagine it would look like). :) Happy 4th of July! 

Wild flower oil painting: Finished!
